This work took a small event (lighting toy gun caps) and videoing the ‘explosions’ in slow motion, macro, close-up. Like Arbitrary Axe Arrangement it played with the sense of scale of the object/occurrence, magnifying and making it appear monumental. I made a looped sequence of video stills where it looked like an apocalyptic scenario although derived from a tabletop top set-up.
