Painting

These are my first satisfactory or finished or completed paintings. Bethnal Green 2014. They were the new start. They are dear to me. I learnt a great deal making them, not least what it meant to me to feel something was finished or completed or done. It’s such a difficult thing, when do you stop on something, why do you stop on something, when to just let it be.
